Manor Vail Lodge: A Vail Condominium Base for Friend Groups from Sydney or Melbourne

By Patrick W. Davis, Director of Sales & Marketing

A condominium stay suits friends who want shared living space, cooking facilities, and straightforward lift access during a longer Vail holiday. Manor Vail Lodge is a luxury condominium lodge at the base of Golden Peak, steps from the Riva Bahn Express lift at Chair 6 and a five minute walk to Vail Village. For travelers weighing a conventional hotel against a shared residence, it offers separate bedrooms in the one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, living areas, and a private ski locker in every residence. For friends traveling from Sydney or Melbourne, a shared residence turns a long journey into a holiday that begins the moment you arrive.

Why Friends Choose Manor Vail Lodge

Living areas support relaxed evenings together, while full kitchens let you set your own meal schedule during an extended ski trip.

Friends can walk to the lift at Golden Peak, return at different times, or continue into Vail Village.

Condominium Space for Groups Who Want to Stay Together

Manor Vail Lodge has 90 condominium residences, including studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and penthouse options.

Choose a Residence Around Your Group’s Priorities

Studios and one-bedrooms are about 700 square feet. Two- and three-bedroom residences are about 1,400 square feet and have three bathrooms.

For a larger shared base, the two- and three-bedroom accommodation options sleep up to eight people. Confirm the exact bedding layout because residence interiors and sleeping arrangements can vary.

What Every Residence Adds to a Longer Stay

Each residence has its own kitchen, a gas fireplace and a private patio or balcony with a gas grill on a gas line, plus a private ski locker. The kitchen supports flexible meals, while the living area and fireplace create a central place to regroup after skiing.

Manor Vail also has two penthouses, 454 and 470. Penthouse 454 has its own outdoor jacuzzi.

Penthouse 470 offers four bedrooms plus a loft and sleeps up to ten. It is seasonal, so confirm availability with our reservations team at 800.950.8245.

Golden Peak Access and a Simple Ski-Day Routine

Manor Vail Lodge is steps from the lift at Golden Peak. Vail Ski and Snowboard School’s Golden Peak campus is a very short walk across the street.

The property is not ski-in/ski-out. Its walk-to-the-lift location makes it easy to start at Golden Peak without organizing a morning vehicle transfer, and Vail Village is nearby for dining and après-ski plans. A complimentary in-town shuttle is also available.

Ski valet is available at Chair 6 for guests; the front desk can explain how it works.

Vail Sports operates a Golden Peak ski shop that partners with the lodge. Ask the front desk about rental options for your group.

Meals, Recovery, and Shared Time Off the Mountain

A full kitchen gives your group control over self-catered breakfasts, simple dinners, and different eating schedules.

A daily hot breakfast buffet is included for registered guests. For an on-property meal or drink, The Fitz: Elevated Bar + Bites is known for approachable comfort food, creative cocktails and local Colorado drafts. Our front desk team can confirm reservations and hours.

All guests share two heated outdoor pools and four heated hot tubs, open year-round.

A resort service fee applies in addition to the room rate; confirm the current amount when you book.
