A Family Base at Golden Peak

Ski mornings stay simple here. There is very little carrying, and family members can return to the residence on their own schedule.

The Vail Ski and Snowboard School Golden Peak campus is a very short walk across the street. Reservations are recommended for lessons.

Manor Vail Lodge is not ski-in/ski-out. Complimentary ski valet is available for guests at Chair 6, and the front desk can explain how it works. At day's end, your private ski locker keeps equipment organized and out of the living area.

Condominium Residences for Family Ski Weeks

Manor Vail Lodge has 90 condominium residences: studios, one, two and three bedroom residences, and two penthouses. The range supports couples with children, extended families and groups sharing a longer stay.

Choose the Right Residence Size

Studios and one bedroom residences are about 700 square feet with one full bathroom, and sleep up to four. Two and three bedroom residences are about 1,400 square feet with three bathrooms, and sleep up to eight. Those extra bathrooms reduce scheduling conflicts before breakfast and after skiing.

Everyday Features That Make Longer Stays Easier

Every residence includes a full kitchen, a gas fireplace, a private balcony or patio with a gas grill and views of Vail Mountain or Gore Creek, and a private ski locker. The grill runs on a gas line, so there is no tank to refill. Kitchens include a full-size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and dining table.

These features support the routines of a week long trip. Store breakfast supplies, prepare simple meals, and gather around the dining table without leaving the residence. The fireplace makes a comfortable place to regroup after skiing.

Penthouses for Larger Families

Penthouse 454 has three bedrooms plus a den, 3.5 bathrooms and about 3,230 square feet. It offers private elevator access, a deck with a fireplace, grill and mountain views, and a state of the art kitchen. It hosts up to eight guests. Penthouse 454 has its own outdoor jacuzzi.

Penthouse 470 has four bedrooms plus a loft, 4.5 bathrooms and about 3,700 square feet, with mountain views and a washer and dryer. It sleeps up to ten. Penthouse 470 is seasonal and is offered for select winter holiday periods with a minimum stay.

Amenities That Simplify a Family Ski Stay

The lodge's shared amenities help families manage breakfast, recovery and downtime during a multi night vacation.

All guests share two heated outdoor pools and four heated hot tubs, open year round. They give the whole family a place to unwind after skiing.

A daily hot breakfast buffet is included for registered guests, giving your family an easy start to the morning before everyone heads to the mountain.

The lodge also has a fitness facility with Peloton bikes, a sauna, and BioMed Spa Vail on site for massage and facials. The Fitz: Elevated Bar + Bites is the lodge's bar and restaurant, known for approachable comfort food and a good fit for families. Please confirm current days, hours and reservations.

Travel Dates and Arrival Planning

Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is about a 40 minute drive from the lodge. Denver is about 100 miles east, typically a 1.5 to 2 hour drive via I-70. Check flyege.com for the current flight schedule, and allow flexibility for winter road conditions.
