VAIL DANCE FESTIVAL
For 30 years, Vail, Colorado, has played host to some of the greatest international dance acts in the world as part of the annual Vail Dance Festival. Performances by the Bolshoi Ballet Academy of Moscow, the New York City Ballet, Dorrance Dance, and many others have delighted guests from all over the world.
Each summer, these graceful and awe-inspiring performances are all set against the amazing backdrop of the Vail Valley, deep in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The Vail Dance Festival continues to be a highlight of Colorado summer activities, and many of the main performances are only minutes away from Manor Vail Lodge.

Dance Festival Venues
Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater
0.2 Miles, 5-minute Walk from Manor Vail
This spectacular outdoor venue seats 1,260 guests in covered seating and an additional 1,300 on its hillside. It will play host to the Vail Dance Festival’s opening night and other performances during the two week event.
Vilar Performing Arts Center
13 Miles, 19-minute Drive from Manor Vail
Located near Beaver Creek, the Vilar Performing Arts Center is an indoor theater which offers perfect acoustics and unobstructed views from each of its 535 seats. The Vilar Performing Arts Center will host several of the Vail Dance Festival performances including tap, jazz and ballet acts.
Avon Performance Pavilion
11 Miles, 19-minute Drive from Manor Vail
The Avon Performance Pavilion at Harry A. Nottingham Park will host several of the dance performances including the family fun event “Dancing in the Park.” The pavilion features a large performance stage and a large deck over the lake, allowing visitors to take in the scenic views of the Vail Valley.
