Excutive Chef, Kenneth Butler

Known for his passion for food, fresh ingredients and commitment to sourcing the best products, Executive Chef Kenneth Butler brings his knowledge and creativity to Manor Vail Lodge and The Fitz Bar & Restaurant in Vail, Colorado.

Chef Ken developed his culinary skills and love for wine and spirits by working at some of the best mountain resorts in Colorado. Prior to Manor Vail Lodge, he was a Sous chef for the Andaz Maui, at Wailea Resort. In 2013, Chef Ken won his region for Cochon 555 and became an accredited level one sommelier by the Court of master sommeliers. The creative freedom to go beyond in the kitchen results in his unique modern American cuisine.

"We have stayed here several times now and it is our favorite place. Very close to the golden peak lift which is convenient for skiing. Chef Kenneth Butler always takes care of us at The Fitz restaurant and it is amazing. His menu offers a great variety of foods and is ever changing. Service/Food and Rooms all are top notch. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay!"
