Golf The Vail Valley is home to 4 public golf courses. The Vail Golf Course (the closest one to Manor Vail 1 mile down the road) has been offering guests the chance to play golf at 3,200 feet in elevation for over 40 years. Eagle Ranch Golf Course is an Arnold Palmer Signature Design and will challenge any golfer with its five sets of tees, ranging from 5,400 yards to 7,500 yards. Cotton Ranch Club in Gypsum and the Eagle-Vail Golf Club in Eagle-Vail are also available for the general public's use. Vail Golf Course

Biking On the road or the mountain, Vail has biking covered. The Vail Valley is host to a number of different road and mountain biking races throughout the summer season. The Triple By Pass is a road ride from Evergreen to Vail over Squaw (11,140), Loveland (11,990), and Vail (10,560) passes, for a total of 120 miles and more than 10,000 feet of lung-busting gain in elevation! If riding on the mountain is more your style, check out the Teva Mountain Games or hop on one of the many mountain biking trails offered.

Cultural Events The Vail Valley is home to excellent cultural events year round, but the summer schedule provides some of the finest. Looking for music? The Bravo! Music Festival brings the Rochester Philharmonic, Dallas Symphony and the New York Philharmonic to Gerald Ford Amphitheater. The Hot Summer Nights free concert series brings main stream music also to Ford Amphitheater. The International Dance Festivalprovides world class dance performances July 30 - August 13. Other cultural opportunities include: numerous art galleries located in Vail and Beaver Creek, the Vail Jazz Festival, Oktoberfest, Vail Arts Festival, Beaver Creek Rodeo and a variety of events and performances at the Vilar Center for the Arts.
