The Lord Gore Restaurant has arguably the best dining views in all of Vail. Located at Vail Mountain's Golden Peak, the Lord Gore Restaurant's casual yet elegant atmosphere make it one of the best and most romantic restaurants in Vail.

Executive Chef Richard A. Bailey, C.E.C., brings his culinary vision to the Vail Valley. Mastering his craft via stops around the globe, Richard is at home crafting everything from "sushi to schnitzel". "My goal is really to serve the best possible food with only the freshest ingredients. If it's not in season, you won’t see it here", he says.

Enjoy delicious items from a diverse and contemporary menu. Creative nightly specials are offered frequently; all meant to tempt your palate.

The Fitz

Winding down after a day of skiing or hiking Vail mountain, the Fitz, open daily from 3:00pm to close, Tuesday - Saturday, offers select signature martinis, renowned wines and Apres fare. The panoramic windows provide stunning views of Ford Park, Gore Range and Gore Creek


The Fitz Riverside Deck – one of Vail’s sunniest decks!

The welcoming and laid back atmosphere of The Fitz, is the perfect place to relax, enjoy views of the river, and take advantage of great drink and appetizer specials.

Locals refer to the Fitz as Vail's best keep secret! The Fitz is located on the Town of Vail path to Ford Amphitheatre and is the perfect meeting place before and after concerts and performances! Guests of the restaurant and bar receive complimentary event parking with a validated valet ticket.
