Gondola Dedication and Opening Day

Vail Mountain opens for its 50th winter season when the lifts start turning at 9 a.m. Get there early to witness the unveiling and dedication of Vail’s new, state-of-the-art gondola at Mountain Plaza in Vail Village beginning at 8 a.m. The dedication will feature speeches, a ribbon cutting and the first official gondola ride. Book your accommodations at Manor Vail Lodge to enjoy all the local events and celebrations in the area.
