Here at Manor Vail Lodge we aim to provide our guests with the warmest mountain welcome! For families visiting Vail, Manor Vail Lodge provides plenty of accommodations to satisfy all ages. For families looking to explore the great outdoors, we offer an abundance of outdoor activities right outside our front door.
Located next to Golden Peak, Ford Park and the Ford Amphitheater, Manor Vail Lodge is the central hub for everything Vail has to offer during the summer. Take the kids on an adventure and explore the beautiful Rocky Mountains from up high as you zip, fly, tour and tube around on Vail Mountain's Adventure Ridge Park or take adventure on the river and explore the land that once was through our Fossil Posse tour. Rent crusier bikes for the day and travel along the Vail bike path aside Gore Creek through the Vail Golf Course, or head into town for a day shopping and dinning at the Vail Village shops and restaurants.
Summer & Winter Activites:
Manor Vail Lodge's ideal Vail location and spacious condominiums make it easy for families to create a memorable vacation. Our guest services department puts together a daily calendar of seasonal activities taking place in the surrounding area that can include anything from wildflower walks in the summer to snowshoe hikes in the winter.
Vail Nature Center - An authentic farmhouse, operated by Walking Mountain Science Center, is located next to the bank of Gore Creek in Vail. Family friendly activities are hosted here almost daily where visitors can experience summer and winter hikes, a unique fly fishing program, campfires with s’mores, and much more.
Imagination Station - Kids twelve and under can expand their minds at this creative children’s museum located in Lionshead, which is right next to Vail Village. Fun features include a new Mad Scientist Lab, a hyperbolic funnel, and a play wall.
Adventure Ridge - Offers a wide assortment of seasonal mountain top activities to cater to all members of the family right on top of Eagle’s Nest on Vail Mountain. Summertime is full of action with zip lining, horseback/pony rides, rock climbing, guided hikes, jeep tours, disc golf, lawn sports, a rebound trampoline, and nature hikes. There is the Discovery Center too, also operated by Walking Mountain Science Center, where the fun for families is endless.
Winter is even cooler with a wide variety of activities to take advantage of at Adventure Ridge. Tubing, ski biking, kids' snowmobile, snowshoeing, and ice skating are all available. No matter what season there are also five different dining options you can choose to refuel at and take in the beautiful Rocky Mountain views.
Colorado Ski & Snowboard Museum - Open all year round, guests can take in all sorts of history and facts about two of the most popular sports right here in Vail – skiing and snowboarding. Most of the museum displays those who have been recognized in the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame. Admission is free, and there is also a museum shop where guests can purchase their vacation memories.
